These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to online Courses provided by bubu IT. Deviations from these conditions require the written consent of both contracting parties.

Offer and Booking of Individual Lessons

Registration for an online course is done via email contact. The contract comes into effect once the provider confirms the registration, and the participant has paid the course fee.

The course provider offers the participant a written offer that describes the individual lessons, their scope, and the course costs in detail. Before booking a lesson, the full course fee, amounting to 100% of the total, is due. Refunds of the course fee are not possible.

Participation Fee and Payment Terms

Payment is made in advance via bank transfer.

Cancellation Terms

Cancellation up to 72 hours before the course starts: No cancellation fees. The full course fee will be credited to your account. 50% of the course fee will be retained, and 50% will be credited to your account. Cancellation within less than 24 hours before the course starts: No refund or credit. The full course fee will be retained.

Please note that cancellations must be made in writing or by email to be valid. We strongly recommend notifying us of cancellations as early as possible to avoid cancellation fees.

These cancellation terms are in place to ensure a fair balance between students and the service, providing a high-quality educational experience while ensuring that our students respect their commitments.

Access to the Online Course

After payment is received, the participant will receive access credentials for the online course. These access credentials are personal and may not be shared with third parties. The participant is responsible for the security of their access credentials and is liable for all activities conducted using their access credentials.

Scope of the Online Course

The provider makes the agreed online course available to the participant. This includes access to documentation, Jitsi Audio Video Screencast Text Chat. The provider reserves the right to adjust or expand the scope of the course as long as it serves the overall purpose of the course.

Recording Prohibition

It is strictly prohibited to conduct any form of audio or video recordings, transcripts, or screen recordings during our courses or training sessions unless explicit written permission has been granted.

By participating in our courses, you expressly agree to respect and adhere to these recording prohibitions. Violations of this provision may result in the immediate termination of your participation in a course and may potentially have legal consequences.

This measure is in place to protect privacy and intellectual property, ensuring that all our courses can take place in a trustworthy and respectful environment.

Data Protection and Confidentiality

The provider commits to comply with data protection regulations. Participant data is used solely for the purpose of contract processing and course implementation. Further information on data protection can be found in the provider's privacy policy.

The contractor treats all customer data transmitted within the project with the utmost confidentiality and commits to complying with all applicable data protection regulations, especially the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Customer data collected, processed, or transmitted during the course of the project adheres to the highest security standards. This data is used exclusively for the purpose of the project and will not be disclosed to third parties unless explicitly authorized by the customer or legally required.

Confidentiality extends beyond the project's duration and remains in effect even after the project's completion. The contractor undertakes to adequately protect customer data and take appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, theft, or disclosure.

Disclaimer

The provider assumes no liability for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided in the online course. Participation in the online course is at your own risk. The provider is not liable for damages resulting from the application of the content taught in the course.

Final Provisions

Changes or additions to these GTC require written form. Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become ineffective, the effectiveness of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. Austrian law applies. The place of performance and exclusive place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the provider.
